Isabella Ripley is a boutique photographer based in Pembroke, Massachusetts.
I’d love to have a cup of coffee and chat about how we can customize your session!
Hi, I'm Izzy—your boutique photographer with a heart for storytelling.
What I do is more than taking pictures. I help you turn your most meaningful relationships into heirloom artwork that lives on your walls—not just in your phone. These aren't just photos; they're daily reminders of who and what matters most.
What sets me apart? I have a background in psychology, which gives me a deeper understanding of people—especially how to help them feel at ease during a photo session. I’ve worked with kids for years and have a whole toolkit of tricks to get the perfect shot (yes, even with the wiggly ones).
But this isn't just a job to me. It's personal.
I became a boutique photographer because of my mom. When my parents divorced, our family portraits came down—and suddenly, everything felt different. But then she took new photos of just us girls, and seeing those images on the wall reminded me: love doesn’t leave. It just evolves.
That moment stuck with me. And now, I create that same feeling for other families—especially during seasons of change. Whether you're blending families, welcoming new life, or just trying to hold onto the chaos of everyday magic, your story deserves to be seen and remembered.
There’s nothing better than watching a client leave with a piece of artwork under their arm—knowing it will be the soul of their home, and a touchstone for years to come.
Let’s create something timeless together.
About me:
I’ve been a photographer for years, and today my work is rooted in a boutique experience — thoughtful, elevated, and completely personalized. My goal is simple: create images that feel like you, and turn them into beautiful artwork you’ll be proud to live with every single day.
Outside the studio, I’m all about the people I love and the little things that make life feel full — time with my husband (we’ve been together almost 13 years… yes, middle school sweethearts!) and friends, a cozy night with a great book or a binge-worthy show, and any excuse to try a new restaurant on the South Shore. When I need a reset, you’ll usually find me on the water paddle boarding — it’s my favorite way to clear my head. We moved here years ago after buying our first home, and I still feel lucky we get to call this place ours. We got married on 08/25/24, and it’s one of those dates I’ll always hold close.
At home, you’ll find me with our little crew: two dogs, Finley and Cayden, and our cat, Margo — the true queen of the house.
What I love most is the connection. I’m naturally drawn to stories, personalities, and the little details that make a family them. Because to me, it’s never just about taking a beautiful photo — it’s about understanding who you are and creating timeless, elevated artwork that feels personal, honest, and worth passing down.
